Nimonic 80A (UNS N07080, W.Nr 2.4952 / 2.4631) is an age-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy strengthened by titanium and aluminium. It offers high tensile and creep-rupture strength at temperatures up to about 815 °C, together with good oxidation and corrosion resistance, which is why it is widely used for gas turbine parts, engine exhaust valves and high-temperature bolting.
