Monel K500 (UNS N05500, W.Nr 2.4375) is the age-hardenable version of Monel 400. Small additions of aluminium and titanium let it be precipitation-hardened to roughly two to three times the yield strength of Monel 400, while keeping the nickel-copper base's resistance to seawater and many chemicals. Why Choose Monel K500?

Monel K500 offers high strength and hardness after ageing, good corrosion resistance similar to Monel 400, low magnetic permeability and good toughness down to low temperatures. It is usually rough-machined annealed and then aged to final strength.
