Monel sheet, plate and strip are used wherever seawater, brine or hydrofluoric acid attack thinner stainless sections. Monel K500 flat products are available on enquiry for parts that need higher strength. Each sheet, coil or cut piece keeps its heat number and is covered by an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate.

Thin strip for formed or stamped parts often needs a cold-rolled finish and tighter tolerance, while heavy plate for liners and tube sheets is usually hot-rolled.
