Dahej, in Bharuch district, is the heart of Gujarat's Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR). The region spreads over about 453 sq km and includes the Dahej SEZ, the GIDC Dahej industrial estates, a petrochemical complex, a liquid-chemical port terminal and an LNG terminal. Plants here make petrochemicals, agrochemicals, dyes and intermediates, specialty chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
